Football Club Goa is an Indian professional football club based in Goa, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The club was established on 26 August 2014. Nicknamed as The Gaurs, the club plays their home matches at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao.

FC Goa is the first ever Indian club to qualify for the AFC Champions League group stage.

Players of FC Goa teach each other konkani language. Konkani is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by the Konkani people, primarily along the western coastal region of India. It is one of the 22 Scheduled languages mentioned in the 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution and the official language of the Indian state of Goa.
