Russian rugby? What?

Russian analogue ow rugby? Not exactly

Kila is a ancient primordially game Russian game of a leather ball stuffed with hair or straw between two teams. The goal of the game is to throw the ball into the enemy’s zone. The game was very popular at wedding festivities, since the rules were rather strict earlier, and the game often escalated into a fight. Over time, kila was almost forgotten, like many Russian games, traditions, and crafts. But thanks to enthusiasts in the 90s of the last century, the game received a rebirth. It may seem that kila is a complete analogue of rugby. Not exactly, there are similarities, but a significant difference is that the ball is passed in any direction.
